$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gourmet 

gourmet is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gourmet package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gourmet *

You will get with gourmet package name, version, architecture and description in a table

gourmet package basic information:
